As the lead designer and strategist for the 75th Anniversary of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), I was entrusted with bringing a milestone celebration to life visually. The theme—Imagining the Future of Neuroscience—called for a bold, forward-looking design system that honored the institute’s legacy while pointing to the future of brain research.
I was handed a pre-designed logo mark, but beyond that, I had full creative freedom to develop the visual identity across all channels and touchpoints. I took this opportunity to pivot from the original color palette and lean into something more vibrant and energetic—infusing the brand with new life for a new era.
Using a mix of collage, custom gradients, and dynamic photography treatments, I created a cohesive visual language that was both celebratory and science-forward. I focused on design elements that could adapt across formats while maintaining consistency and visual impact.

This campaign required not just design execution but strategic thinking—ensuring that each deliverable reflected the theme and connected with both scientific and public audiences. The work culminated in a polished and immersive anniversary experience that captured the energy, depth, and innovation of NINDS’s mission.
